How shlokai handles your data

Cookies

• gh_h: remembers that this browser passed the one-time browser check (an anonymous random id); 30 days, renewed while you use the site.
• gh_ok: lets the pages you open load their files; 12 hours.
• gh_pass: set only when you open a link someone gave you; until that link expires.
• __Host-gh_admin: the owner's dashboard sign-in, on the dashboard's own address only; 12 hours.

All of them are first-party and HttpOnly; none is used for advertising or shared with anyone.

Your IP address

The address your request comes from is used to count visits and to keep scrapers out. Only a keyed hash of it is stored, never the address itself. Cloudflare reports the country, region, city and network name for each request, and those are kept with the hash.

Analytics

A small first-party script records page views, time on the page, scroll depth, clicks on links and buttons, page speed and script errors. It sets no cookie of its own and keeps a random id per browser tab. Records of one browser are linked within one day (UTC) only, never across days. With Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turned on, the page script sends nothing at all.

Processors and retention

shlokai runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the site, stores this data (Cloudflare D1) and sends notification email. Page records are kept 400 days, security records 90 days, analytics events and visit counts 400 days, content-security reports 30 days.
